KNOWLEDGE

LESSON #3

KNOWLEDGE We have truly entered the age of massive information and those who are proactive can use this to their advantage. The more you know, the less you fear. Apply the knowledge you got from school to sharpen your skills. The only way to be knowledgeable is to be open minded. Before starting a venture do not assume to know everything make thorough research to get as much knowledge as possible. Avoid also taking the word of mouth as the gospel truth.

·        Knowledge is power. People who have achieved great success are not necessarily more skillful or intelligent than others. What separates them is their burning desire and thirst for knowledge. The more one knows, the more one achieves. Great leaders have techniques to allow them to arrive at the top of the mountain. Read the biographies of the world's leaders and learn from their habits, inspirations and philosophies. Cultivate the important practice of active role modeling. By Robin S. Sharma.

·        Empty your cup. A full cup cannot accept anything more. Similarly, a person who believes that he cannot learn anything else will stagnate quickly and not move to higher levels. A true sign of a secure, mature individual is someone who sees every opportunity as a chance to learn. Even the teachers have teachers. By Robin S. Sharma.

·        Read "A History of Knowledge" by Charles Van Doren which chronicles the history of the world's ideas. In this one book is an absolute wealth of knowledge. Get it, read it and enjoy it. By Robin S. Sharma.

BELIEVE IN YOUR SELF

LESSON #2.5

SELF BELIEF
Like it or not 95% of the African race suffers from inferiority complex. We feel so weak to do anything BIG and we bury ourselves in self-pity just like an ostrich burring it’s head in the ground hoping that the danger would pass by it unnoticed. So that when it removes its buried head everything will be rosy and cozy. We have to stop feeling inferior that plague has to be fought and the only way to win it is to start BELIEVING IN YOURSELF. Each and every individual has to start believing that they were made to do something big, whether educated or uneducated.

We fear that we are inadequate, but our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves:”Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?"
Actually, who are you not to be these things?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn't serve the world.
There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people around you won't feel insecure.
We are all meant to shine as children do.
We are born to manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically releases others."
--Marriane Williamson, from 'A Return to Love'.

He who fears he will suffer, already suffers from his fear." --Michel de Montaigne

Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it." --Goethe
