ENTERPRENEURSHIP

ENTREPRENEURSHIP
LESSON #15

INVESTMENT

Investment is the spending of money or effort on something in order to make it a success. Most people think that an investment is any business you inject money in, sit back and watch the money multiply. This is wishful thinking. An investment is like a new born baby that needs all the nursing and nurturing to make it grow strong and healthy. Before you make any investment think thoroughly about the business, have a plan and a vision. A direction of where you want to go and be in a given period of time. Avoid starting a venture just because someone is reaping profits from it at the time. Gather all the knowledge and gauge yourself to see whether this is a venture you can handle or not. Make an investment while you’re still young so that you bask in the fruits of your labor in your old and ripe years.

There are so many ways to invest your money. Most people do not know this but one of the quickest ways to make profits is investing in shares. But then again make your research thoroughly on the shares you want to invest in.Many frauds are on the loose.

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
--Mark Twain

·         Ask not what this world can do for you but, rather, what you can do for this world. Make service an important goal in your life. It is a most fulfilling investment of time. Remember, in the twilight of your life, when all is said and done, the quality of your life boils down to the quality of your contribution to others. Leave a rich legacy for those around you to savour. By Robin S. Sharma.
