WORKING SMART IS THE NEW WORKING HARD

LESSON #31:

WORKING SMART

We have all heard the phase “HARD-WORK LEADS TO SUCCESS”, that is true but not only working hard but also WORKING SMART. Don’t get me wrong working smart is not conning people off their money, working smart is planning ahead, having a vision and dream and a goal to get to. Sometimes one can work hard but gain little so working smart is also important.

Learn to reward yourself once your hard work pays off. It will make you fill appreciated and that after every task is complete with good results, rewards await. Spoil yourself a little like buying yourself a gift, take yourself out; not in a pub but like on a short vacation say go to the national parks, Gorilla tracking, Bundy jumping, Rafting e.t.c. Enjoy the fruits of your labor.

 

Soak in a warm bath at the end of a long, productive day. Reward yourself for even the smallest of achievement. Take time out for renewal of your mind, body and spirit. Soon all you’re more important goals will be met and you will move to the next level of peak performance. By Robin S. Sharma.
