START SMALL

       LESSON #17

START SMALL

Starting small doesn’t necessarily mean starting with little capital, it means start by injecting small amounts of money in the business to test the waters. You might have big ideas and plans but with little experience in the venture or market flexibility. Starting small may also mean starting with the few assets you have e.g. if you’re a crafts person, you can make baskets out of straw and other materials. You can put your commodities on display or hawk them to test the market. With time you will learn how the market responds to your product, get Ideas and critics on what to improve and supplement so that you know what the market needs when you start going large scale.

Starting small reduces the chances of heavy losses after investing heavily in production. You get to learn the do’s and don’ts and the losses can be easily corrected and avoided in the long run.
